Spicy Beef Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Optional garnishes: diced green onions sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Cook the beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add sauce and vegetables: Add red bell pepper, soy sauce, sriracha, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble lettuce wraps: Spoon the beef mixture onto fresh lettuce leaves. Garnish with diced green onions or sesame seeds, if desired.
