Sharon's Sweet and Savory Baked Beans Recipe for BBQs

Ingredients

  • 1 15.5 ounce can baked beans
  • 1 15.5 ounce can pork and beans
  • 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the baked beans, pork and beans, diced tomatoes, brown sugar, ketchup, molasses, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Mix well: Stir the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Bake: Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 2-3 hours, or until heated through and thickened.
  • Serve: Serve warm as a side dish for grilled meats or barbecue.
  • Tips:
  • For a spicier baked beans, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
  • You can add other ingredients to your baked beans, such as bacon, ground beef, or chopped onions.
  • For a sweeter baked beans, increase the amount of brown sugar.
