Moist and Delicious Cornbread Recipe for Any Meal

Instructions
Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease an 8x8 inch square baking pan.
Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and honey.
Combine wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and serve: Let the cornbread cool in the pan for a few minutes before serving.
Tips:
For a sweeter cornbread, increase the amount of sugar.
For a more flavorful cornbread, add a tablespoon of grated cheese or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Serve cornbread with butter, honey, or your favorite toppings.
