Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
  • Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Don't overmix.
