Delicious Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the beef: In a small bowl, combine cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Add beef and toss to coat.
  • Heat the oil: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Cook the beef: Add beef to the hot skillet and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Stir-fry vegetables: Add broccoli and red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Make the sauce: In a small bowl, combine beef broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Combine ingredients: Return beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir-fry until the sauce is heated through and coats the ingredients.
  • Serve: Serve immediately over cooked rice.
  • Tips:
  • For a spicier stir-fry, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or Sriracha sauce.
  • You can substitute other vegetables, such as carrots, snow peas, or mushrooms.
