Crispy Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Prepare chicken: In a shallow dish, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Mix wet ingredients: In a separate shallow dish, whisk together milk and egg.
  • Coat chicken: Dip each chicken strip in the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mixture.
  • Bread chicken: Place the breaded chicken strips in a shallow dish coated with breadcrumbs, turning to coat all sides.
  • Fry chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken strips for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, mustard, or honey mustard.
  • Enjoy your crispy chicken tenders!
