Easy and Versatile Quesadillas Recipe for Any Occasion

Ingredients

  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped chicken or beef
  • 1/2 cup sautéed onions
  • 1/4 cup sautéed bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup guacamole

Instructions

  • Prepare fillings: In a bowl, combine the shredded cheeses, chicken or beef, onions, bell peppers, salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.
  • Assemble quesadillas: Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the filling onto one half of the tortilla. Fold the other half over the filling and press down to seal.
  • Cook: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the quesadilla for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Cut the quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately.
  • Tips:
  • You can use any type of cheese or filling you like.
  • For a vegetarian quesadilla, omit the chicken or beef.
