Easy and Versatile Quesadillas Recipe for Any Occasion
Ingredients
8flour tortillas
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
1cupshredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2cupchopped chicken or beef
1/2cupsautéed onions
1/4cupsautéed bell peppers
1/4cupsalsa
1/4cupsour cream
1/4cupguacamole
Instructions
Prepare fillings: In a bowl, combine the shredded cheeses, chicken or beef, onions, bell peppers, salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.
Assemble quesadillas: Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the filling onto one half of the tortilla. Fold the other half over the filling and press down to seal.
Cook: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the quesadilla for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve: Cut the quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately.
Tips:
You can use any type of cheese or filling you like.
For a vegetarian quesadilla, omit the chicken or beef.
